Helical piles can be used in sand, clay, peat, and silt soil types. But they may not be the most ideal choice for rocky soils or dense layers of gravel, both of which can be tough to penetrate deeply enough to remain firm and secure. A consultation with one of our experts can help to determine if your soil type is suitable for installing helical piles with sufficient stability and support.
